The US President gag was actually inspired by the man who I call „My Last Straw“ and a gag/ an idea that I fell in love with after putting way too much thought into.
I was mad at this man and desperately wanted, and still want a 15-minute conversation with this man. After I found out he was a US Soldier, it broke my heart and made me question why I am proud to be a US American when a soldier of my country wouldn’t help me when I told him I desperately needed his help.
I even ran around town one night desperately asking Americans in the downtown area, „Why are you proud to be a US American?“, I think I even kind of scared a few until I started to talk and they heard I am a US American as well. The best answer anyone could give me was their right to own a weapon. My answer was I was so thankful that I didn’t have that right, because I would have done something stupid with it, if I had it and I probably would have destroyed a lot of people’s lives with it, should I have had that right, which they were so proud of having.
I felt like this soldier not helping me had made me question and ultimately took away my national pride, but after the discovery that I am completely qualified to be US President, I thought what a fun way to get my pride in my nation back, by making it a better place in making future based not money based choices for it and a way to get that 15-minute conversation with that soldier.
If I was US President, I would have the power to call that soldier into my office, have my desperately desired 15-minute conversation with him and end it with me firing him from the US Army for being a coward and for not helping me in the rape case, I see him at being at fault for me losing.
My big gag would have been doing a reality series with it, in which my overly correct 5 year old makes most of the countries choices, because it is his future not mine, and let’s face it, he is the one who makes us eat carrots and noodles for Sunday breakfast not me and he is usually the one of two who is making the more adult, wiser choice. So, it would be funny seeing us debate what good choices for the country are and mean.
